Lindner Recyclingtech

The core competence of Lindner-Recyclingtech GmbH is shredding technology – everything from development, construction, production and distribution, to comprehensive customer service is from one source. With us, almost anything can be shredded: waste for thermal and resource recovery, paper, synthetics, rubber, wood, textiles and much more. Lindner-Recyclingtech has become THE specialist for shredders and compact reduction systems for alternative fuels from domestic, industrial and commercial waste. More than 200 staff, six incorporated companies as well as a worldwide network for distribution and service enables us to react with great flexibility to changing customer preferences and market requirements. Firefly AB

Firefly AB

Firefly is a Swedish supplier of spark detection, fire and dust explosion protection systems. Firefly develops, manufactures and sells high-tech systems, which detect and minimise the risk of fires and dust explosions. The company was founded in 1973 and has 40 years of experience in supplying systems for the leading process industries. Each customer is offered unique solutions based on a range of patented components and functions. Firefly co-operates with leading experts and institutions around the world to develop safe high-quality solutions.

Firefly offers fire protection that detects and extinguish sparks/hot particles and flames in risk areas using fast IR-sensors together with water spray or water mist to extinguish.

Every year, fires occur in numerous shredders in the recycling industry. Frequent fires in shredders often result in production downtime and loss of revenue. Regardless if you shred waste, paper or other material, a fire in a shredder can occur due to several reasons: for example friction, bearing failure or foreign objects (stones, metal pieces, etc.) in the process.

A fire in a shredder can spread very quickly. Therefore, a fast acting fire protection system that also can withstand the tough conditions in and around a shredder is required. The main focus of the Firefly ShredderGuard™ solution is to detect and extinguish a fire in a shredder as quickly as possible. This is why a Firefly safety system always consists of three main integrated functionalities: detection, extinguishing and control. By integrating different techniques (flame detection, True IR-detection, full-cone water spray extinguishing and water mist suppression) into one solution, Firefly provides optimal safety for the protection of shredders.

MOCO Shredders

MOCO Shredder

MOCO SHREDDERS has been building shredder systems since 1971 in Viernheim (Germany).

The reliability of MOCO shredders that are used all over the world is achieved by maintaining and further developing proven concepts and construction elements. Innovation for MOCO is to supply tailor-made solution for the requirements of our customers.

MOCO has developed different sets of cutters perfectly adapted to each machine type and to the specific properties of each material. The performance of each cutter type is a function of its width and strength, the design and number of teeth, as well as of the pattern in which they are arranged on the perimeter of the cutting blade.

However, quality as conceived by MOCO is not limited to the cutters alone but it also extends to a firm, safe seat of the cutter on its shaft, as well as to the ease of substitution and maintenance. In addition, a completely new cutting tool ideally adapted to a given shredding job can be created by modifying the pattern in which the cutters and different cutter types are arranged on the shafts.
